I only have two today. I drew some storyboard samples yesterday. They took up the time I would normally draw or paint a character for the day. You can see the boards at either of my blogs, they'll be on my main site soon. I have to do a seasonal overhaul for it soon.
One started as Beo's cold weather jacket, then I added some jokes in. The other was a quick top-down 3-point perspective drawing.

I have the starts to two more concept dealies, some armor stuff.
The Sage character using on of his area spells. He also has build up some of his body modifications, mainly some crystal armor.
Some silhouettes for casting spells [with a quick fire mage drawing (warm-up)]. A spell called Quasar, which is a essentially a massive swirling implosion. I'm thinking of coloring it. Yes, that's an accreation disc jet.
And a reason for the long hair...other than looking really cool on a windy day.

Hey again! I drew these before bed last night and didn't have time to post them...I went to bed right after. The drawing isn't spectacular, but they're funny, which I almost value as much as good drawing (sometimes more). So now, here's Beo Gets Eaten:

Three more. There's the final shot of the short fight with the knight. It's kinda different to me, because I've never drawn Beo actually killing something that's not an animal.
Also Autolycus, the alien space pirate. A memeber of his crew and his robot.

you've got some cool designs going here. i'd like to see some more finished stuff, like the colored armor designs. also, vary the camera angles a bit cause they're all pretty much the same camera, just either pulled up close or pulled away.anyways, hope this helps. have a good one =D |

Thanks character!
I will take camera changes into account.
If you look at my storyboard portfolio on my website or look for the storyboards on my blog, you'll see I do play with camera angles more.
Okay, the drawings from this weekend. I haven't been posting in the last few, because I've been working on my website. Which is now live! So here is the link: http://www.wolfoverclocked.com
There are a bunch of things I have to do still to complete the website, which are listed, quite unprofessionally and obvious on the front page.
So here are the drawings.
Comments welcome, on both the drawings and the website.

Time for explaining of the pics above.
I was looking for some sort of basic monster, like an Imp or Fallen or Knoll or Orc, for this universe. I wanted it to be simple, humonaiod, semi-intelligent. I would have him/her/it be upgradable easily and color swap-able.
So that's what I cooked up above. It's relating back to another drawing. Since I've pretty much eleminated Trolls from the universe, I have Trol-lins. The name is a combo of Troll+Goblin. Well, maybe I'll use that name...I haven't decided if I want to keep the little guys or make something else.
Next, we have a bunch of enviroment thumbnails. I'll probably pick one or two and consider, maybe, think about, possibly painting them.
Then Autolycus and his swash buckling ways. And his flirting ways...some very dirty jokes could be implied there.
Now there is this one. Under development. A short story I'm comin' up with about the moon around this world, and how a crazy person slammed an asteroid into it. It's one of those side story things. I'm adding it in, mainly, as an interesting plot that might be explored.
That's everything.

Something new I'm working on with the moon one.
The rough Inspirartion equation is, this album + my character + the Acolyte of the Skin prestige class from D&D + the 9 Ways to become an evil does thread at PST.
I did however take artistic license from the album with the color of the coat, a little tweaking of the design, and, of course, my technique is different. It's also unfinished...but I think that's obvious.

lookin pretty good man. pic is a bit out of focus since you have so much light behind the character. i think it'd work better if it were a darker background so that he stands out and is more prominent in the piece. otherwise, lookin good =) |
